Name:The 2013 conference of the Society for Mathematics and Computation in Music.
Description:MCM2013 will be held June 12-14 at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. The conference is hosted jointly by the Schulich School of Music at McGill University and by CIRMMT, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research in Music Media and Technology. The organisers encourage submissions of unpublished research papers that use mathematical and/or computational approaches to address any aspect of music theory, music analysis, or composition. Contributions may be in the form of individual papers (20 mins), panels and joint sessions, workshops and tutorials, or posters. Further information about MCM2013 and the submission process may be found at http://www.music.mcgill.ca/mcm2013 . Previous conferences of the Society for Mathematics and Computation in Music took place in Berlin (2007), New Haven (2009) and Paris (2011). The Society's website is at http://www.smcm-net.info/
